CIRCULAR No.1/2009

Consequent upon formation of Cochin Special Economic Zone Authority w.e.f. 1st April 2009, all payments to CSEZ are being deposited into a single Account viz. ‘CSEZ Authority Fund Account’ maintained at State Bank of India, CEPZ Branch, Kakkanad.  For accounting convenience, it has been decided to maintain separate accounts for Lease Rent & Miscellaneous payments, Power Distribution and IWMS payments in different banks.  Accordingly, separate accounts have been opened in the banks. 

2.         Henceforth all units and establishments in CSEZ shall remit the payments to the specified banks only.
 
3.         Payments through RTGS shall also be accepted.  However, the depositor shall fill up the deposit forms and submit the same to the CSEZ Authority (in respect of rent and miscellaneous, power and IWMS payments) and M/s Kitco Ltd (in case of Power and IWMS payments) alongwith a confirmation on the transfer of the money from the receiving bank.
 
4.         New deposit forms are available at the designated branches of banks mentioned above as well as at site office of M/s. KITCO Ltd., CSEZ Administrative Building.  While making payments through Cheque or DD, it may be ensured that the name of the unit,  consumer number and bill number are indicated on the reverse side of the cheque/DD. While making miscellaneous payments the item of payment may be specified.

5.         This circular shall come into force with immediate effect.
