     Sub: Processing of CST claims – amendment of procedure – reg.

     Please refer to this office circular of even number dated 29th September, 2008, wherein it was informed that the practice of intimating the deficiencies and processing the same thereafter has been discontinued. Considering the requests received from the Units for affording them an opportunity to rectify the deficiencies, it has been decided that henceforth one opportunity would be given to Units to rectify the deficiencies and resubmit the claim. However, on resubmission, appropriate late cuts, if any, on the entire CST amount would be imposed. Date of receipt of the CST claim clearing the deficiencies will be taken as the date of submission of the claim.
